Here it is folks! Phoenix raceway. 12 days and counting. Thursday we golf! Friday I am going fishing with my brother HBZ and my new guide Karen "Big Fish" Lewis. The only thing on the lake with a bigger mouth than me will be the large mouth bass we catch. Saturday is the big day. A Saturday night NASCAR Nextel cup race!!! 180 mph thunder! The cars go by you so fast when you go down and walk on the fence. The cars are 6 feet away going 180 mph. All you see is a blur. That may be because I will have about 10 beers in me by the half way point of the

race. As my old pal Darrell Waltrip will say that night "Bogity Bogity BOGITY, Lets go racing boys" I can't wait 12 days and counting.

You know what pisses me off?

People who drive way to fast and tailgate durring a rain or snow storm. Today we had a rain/snow mix for rush hour. Some dumb ass in a big SUV was tailgating me on I-25. He is lucky there are laws to protect guys like him from guys like me. I wanted to just stop right in the middle of the road, get out, pull him out of his SUV and punch him in the face a couple of hundred times. But there is the law that protects him. He is one lucky bastard, and he does not even know it.

Flags in school

Schools that ban kids from bringing a flag to school. Or even from wearing red white and blue. This is a bunch of bullshit! They need to worry about teaching the kids and not about what is on a t-shirt! This is the USA right? There are men and women being killed and wounded daily with that flag on their uniform and some dumb ass liberal school teacher is going to tell our kids they cant have anything that relates to the flag in school? I fought with that flag on my uniform, as did my dad and many generations of my family. Now my daughters school has not made any coments on the flag there. If they do, I am going to send her to school with a US flag t-shirt every day!!! If they have a problem with that well guess what? They would be messing with the wrong Marine!!!

5 FILLINGS AND 1 WISDOM TOOTH

Yesterday was fun. I had 5 fillings and a wisdom tooth pulled. It was not too bad. My dentist is a ex-Navy dentist. He did a great job. His assistant was a Denver Bronco cheerleader from the super bowl years. Other than a headache and spitting blood all afternoon things went okay.

Okay, Dale Jr was the shit today! He crashed that car twice, and fell back to 42nd place. The front end was trashed and he still finished 4th!!!! If his car was in good shape the way he ran it tore up... He would have put everybody down a lap. That was some real driving and a great set up on that car. Dale, this bud's for you!!!

NASCAR, Short track Sunday

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!! My second favorite day of the week, next to Friday. Today's race is at Martinsville, another short track. Tempers will fly. I hope someone puts the #20 car and the #24 car into the wall early in the race. I hope to see the #8 car in first place at the finish. I don't think it will happen as he is more of a super speedway guy. I would like a top 10 finish for him though. So sit back tighten up the straps one more time, let's go racin boys bogity bogity bogity.
